This stunningly restored Davall clock dates to August 1953 made in the UK by S. Davall & Sons Ltd based in St. John St, Clerkenwell, London. From 1930, Davall used German movements in their clocks, and this particular model has its original Kienzle Uhren mechanical movement. Many of their clocks would have been seen in train stations around the globe.

S. Davall & Sons were the first company to invent and manufacture aircraft ‘black-boxes’.

The clock’s movement, face and case have been restored to their former glory.
